(I'w hadrodd unwaith mewn pedair awr ar hugain)
Y sawl a ddymuna adrodd y weddi hon, bydded iddo sefyll ar ei draed a throi at Dduw, ac fel y saif un ei le, bydded iddo edrychi i'r dde ac i'r chwith, fel petai'n disgwyl am drugaredd ei Arglwydd, yr Holl-Drugarog, y Tosturiol. Yna dyweded:
O Tydi yr hwn wyt Arglwydd yr holl enwau a chrewr y nefoedd! Erfyniaf arnat trwy'r rhai sydd yn Ffynonellau-Ddydd Dy Hanfod anweledig, y Mwyaf Dyrchafedig, yr Holl-Ogoneddus, i wneud o'm gweddi dân, a losga'n llwyr y llenni sydd wedi fy nghau allan o'th harddwch, a golau a'm harwain I eigion Dy Bresenoldeb.
Yna bydded iddo godi ei ddwylo mewn ymbil i Dduw bendigedig a dyrchafedig fyddo Ef a dweud:
O Tydi Ddyhead y byd ac anwylyd y cenhedloedd! Yr wyt yn fy ngweld yn troi Atat, ac wedi cael gwared o bob ymlyniad ond wrthyt Ti, ac yn glynnu wrth Dy gortyn, trwy symudiad yr hwn y cynhyrfwyd yr holl greadigaeth. Dy was ydwyf, O Arglwydd, a mab Dy was. Gwêl fi'n barod i wneud Dy ewyllys a'th ddymuniad, gan ddymuno dim arall ond Dy bleser. Erfyniaf Arnat, trwy Eigion Dy drugaredd a Seren-Ddydd Dy ras i wneud â Dy was yn ôl Dy ewyllys a'th bleser. Trwy Dy nerth sy' mhell uwchben pob sôn a mawl! Pa beth bynnag a ddatguddir gennyt yw dymuniad fy nghalon ac anwylyd fy enaid. O fy Nuw, fy Nuw! Paid ag edrych ar fy ngobeithion a'm gweithredoedd, ond edrych yn hytrach ar Dy ewyllys a gwmpasodd y nefoedd a'r ddaear. Yn ôl Dy Enw Mwyaf Di, O Arglwydd yr holl genhedloedd! Deisyfais yn unig yr hyn a ddeisyfaist Di, a charu yn unig yr hyn a geraist Di.
Yna bydded iddo benlinio, a chan ymgrymu â'i ben ar y llawr, dyweded:
Dyrchafedig wyt Ti uwchben disgrifiad neb ond Tydi Dy hun, ac amgyffred dim ond Tydi.
Yna bydded iddo sefyll a dweud:
Gwna fy ngweddi, O fy Arglwydd yn ffynnon dyfroedd bywiol fel y gallaf fyw cyhyd ag y pery dy sofraniaeth Di, a chrybwyll Di ym mhob un o'th fydoedd Di.
Bydded iddo eto godi ei ddwylo mewn ymbil a dweud:
O Tydi y mae calonnau ac eneidiau a wahanwyd oddi Wrthyt wedi toddi, a'r holl fyd yn fflam gan dân Dy gariad! Erfyniaf arnat trwy Dy enw yr wyt wedi darostwng yr holl greadigaeth trwyddo, i beidio â dal yn ôl oddi wrthyf yr hyn sydd gyda Thi, O Tydi sy'n llywodraethu dros bob dyn! Fe weli Di, O fy Arglwydd, yr estron hwn yn brysio i'w gartref mwyaf dyrchafedig o dan nenlen Dy fawrhydi ac o fewn i gyffiniau Dy drugaredd, a'r troseddwr hwn yn chwilio am eigion Dy faddeuant, a'r un gostyngedig hwn am lys Dy ogoniant, a'r creadur truan hwn am wawr Dy gyfoeth. I Ti mae'r awdurdod i orchymyn pa beth bynnag a ddymuni. Tystiaf Dy fod i'th addoli yn Dy weithredoedd, a'th ufuddhau yn Dy orchmynion, ac i aros heb Dy gyfyngu yn Dy wahoddiad.
Yna bydded iddo godi ei ddwylo a dweud dair gwaith yr Enw Mwyaf Mawr (Alláh-u-Abhá). Ac yna plygu i lawr gyda'i ddwylo yn gorffwys ar ei liniau o flaen Duw bendigedig a dyrchafedig fyddo Ef a dweud:
Fe weli Di, O fy Nuw, sut mae fy ysbryd wedi ei gynhyrfu oddi fewn i'm aelodau a'm corff, yn ei ddyhead i'th addoli Di, ac yn ei awydd i'th gofio a'th fawrygu: sut y mae'n tystiolaethu i'r hyn a dystiolaethodd Tafod Dy Orchymyn iddo yn nheyrnas Dy leferydd a nefoedd Dy wybodaeth. Dymunaf, yn y cyflwr hwn, o fy Arglwydd, erfyn Arnat am y cwbl sydd gyda Thi er mwyn i mi gael dangos fy nhlodi, a mawrygu Dy haelioni a'th gyfoeth, a datgan fy mod yn ddi-rym, ac amlygu Dy rym a'th nerth.
Yna bydded iddo sefyll a chodi ei ddwylo ddwywaith mewn ymbil, a dweud:
Nid oes Dduw ond Tydi, yr Hollalluog, yr Holl-Hael. Nid oes Dduw ond Tydi, yr Ordeiniwr, yn y dechrau ac hefyd yn y diwedd. O Dduw, fy Nuw! Mae Dy faddeuant wedi fy hyfhau, a Dy drugaredd wedi fy nghryfhau, a Dy alwad wedi fy neffro, a Dy ras wedi fy nyrchafu a'm arwain atat Ti. Fel arall, pwy ydwyf fi, i mi feiddio sefyll wrth byrth dinas Dy agosrwydd, neu droi fy wyneb tua'r goleuadau a ddisgleiriant o nefoedd Dy ewyllys? Fe weli Di, O fy Arglwydd, y creadur truenus hwn yn curo ar ddrws Dy ras, a'r enaid ddiflanedig hwn yn chwilio am afon bywyd tragwyddol o ddwylo Dy haelioni. I Ti mae'r gorchymyn bob amser, O Tydi yr hwn wyt Arglwydd yr holl enwau; ac i mi y mae ymostyngiad ac ufudd-dod i'th ewyllys, O Greawdwr y nefoedd!
Yna bydded iddo godi ei ddwylo dair gwaith, a dweud:
Mae Duw yn fwy na phob un mawr!
Yna bydded iddo benlinio, a chan wyro ei dalcen at y ddaear, dweud:
Rhyw uchel wyt Ti i glod y sawl sydd yn agos atat esgyn i nefoedd dy agosrwydd, nac i adar calonnau y sawl sydd wedi ymroi i Ti gyrraedd Dy borth. Tystiaf i Ti gael dy sancteiddio uwchlaw pob priodoledd a sanctaidd uwchlaw pob enw. Nid oes Duw ond Tydi, y Mwyaf Dyrchafedig, a'r Mwyaf Gogoneddus.
Yna bydded iddo eistedd a dweud:
Tystiaf i'r hyn y mae popeth a grewyd wedi tystiolaethu iddo, a'r Dyrfa fry, a thrigolion y Baradwys sy'n y goruchaf, a thu hwnt iddynt Dafod Mawredd ei hun o'r Gorwel holl-ogoneddus, mai Tydi wyt Dduw, nid oes Duw ond Tydi, ac mai Efe a amlygwyd yw'r Dirgelwch Cudd, y Symbol a Drysorir, trwy'r Hwn y mae'r llythrennau B ac E (Be) wedi eu huno a'u gwau ynghyd. Tystiaf mai Ef, yw'r hwn y mae Ei enw wedi ei osod i lawr gan Ysgrifbin y Goruchaf, y bu sôn amdano yn Llyfrau Duw, Arglwydd yr Orseddfainc fry a'r ddaear isod.
Yna bydded iddo sefyll yn syth a dweud:
O Arglwydd pob peth sy'n bod a Meddianwr pob peth gweledig ac anweledig! Rwyt yn canfod fy nagrau a'r ocheneidiau a ddaw o'm genau, ac yn clywed fy ngriddfan, fy wylofain a galarnad fy nghalon. Trwy Dy nerth! Cadwodd fy nhroseddau fi'n ôl rhag nesáu atat Ti, a daliodd fy mhechodau fi ymhell oddi wrth lys Dy sancteiddrwydd. Mae Dy gariad, o fy Arglwydd, wedi fy nghyfoethogi, a chael fy ngwahanu oddi Wrthyt Ti wedi fy ninistrio, a phellter oddi Wrthyt Ti wedi fy nifa. Erfyniaf Arnat trwy Dy gamre yn y diffeithwch hwn, a thrwy'r geiriau 'Dyma fi. Dyma Fi' y mae Dy Etholedigion wedi eu llefaru yn yr ehangder hwn, a thrwy anadliadau Dy Ddatguddiad, ac awelon tyner Gwawr Dy Amlygiad, i orchymyn y caf syllu ar Dy harddwch a gweld pa beth bynnag sydd yn Dy Lyfr.
Yna bydded iddo ddweud yr Enw Mwyaf Mawr dair gwaith, a phlygu i lawr â'i ddwylo'n gorffwys ar ei liniau, a dweud:
Moliant fyddo i Ti, O fy Nuw, am i Ti fy nghynorthwyo i'th gofio a'th foli ac amlygu i mi yr Hwn sy'n Ffynhonnell-Ddydd Dy arwyddion, ac wedi peri i mi wyro i lawr o flaen Dy Arglwyddiaeth, a darostwng fy hun o flaen Dy Dduwdod, a chydnabod yr hyn a lefarwyd gan Dafod Dy fawredd.
Yna bydded iddo godi a dweud:
O Dduw, fy Nuw! Crymwyd fy nghefn gan faich fy mhechodau, a dinistriwyd fi gan fy esgeulustod. Bob tro y byddaf yn ystyried fy nghamweddau i a'th garedigrwydd Di, mae fy nghalon yn toddi o'm mewn, a'm gwaed yn berwi yn fy ngwythiennau. Trwy Dy Harddwch, O Tydi, ddyhead y byd! Mae gennyf gywilydd codi fy wyneb atat Ti, ac estyn fy nwylo hiraethus tuag at nef Dy Haelioni. Fe weli Di, O fy Nuw, sut mae fy nagrau'n fy rhwystro rhag Dy gofio Di a mawrygu Dy rinweddau, O Tydi Arglwydd yr Orseddfainc fry a'r ddaear isod! Erfyniaf arnat, trwy arwyddion Dy Deyrnas a dirgelion Dy Arglwyddiaeth i wneud â'r rhai a geri fel y mae'n gweddu i'th haelioni O Arglwydd pob peth sy'n bod, ac yn deilwng o Dy ras, O Frenin y gweledig a'r anweledig!
Yna bydded iddo ddweud yr Enw Mwyaf Mawr dair gwaith, a phenlinio gyda'i dalcen ar y llawr, a dweud:
Moliant fyddo i Ti, O ein Duw, am fod wedi anfon i lawr atom yr hyn sydd yn ein tynnu ni'n nes atat Ti, ac yn rhoi i ni bob peth da a yrrwyd i lawr gennyt Ti yn Dy Lyfrau a'th Ysgrythurau. Amddifyn ni, erfyniwn arnat, O fy Arglwydd, rhag y minteioedd o ddarfelyddion gwag a dychmygion ofer. Tydi, mewn gwirionedd, wyt y Nerthol, yr Holl-Wybodus.
Yna bydded iddo godi ei ben, ac eistedd, a dweud:
Tystiaf, O fy Nuw, i'r hyn y mae Dy Etholedigion wedi tystiolaethu iddo, a chydnabdyddaf yr hyn y mae trigolion yr holl-uchel Baradwys a'r rhai sydd wedi amgylchynu Dy Orseddfainc nerthol wedi cydnabod. Eiddo Ti yw teyrnasoedd nef a daear, O Arglwydd y bydoedd!
Long Obligatory Prayer (to be recited once in 24 hours
Whoso wisheth to recite this prayer, let him stand up and turn unto God, and, as he standeth in his place, let him gaze to the right and to the left, as if awaiting the mercy of his Lord, the Most Merciful, the Compassionate. Then let him say:
O Thou Who art the Lord of all names and the Maker of the heavens! I beseech Thee by them Who are the Daysprings of Thine invisible Essence, the Most Exalted, the All-Glorious, to make of my prayer a fire that will burn away the veils which have shut me out from Thy beauty, and a light that will lead me unto the ocean of Thy Presence.
Let him then raise his hands in supplication toward God - blessed and exalted be He - and say:
O Thou the Desire of the world and the Beloved of the nations! Thou seest me turning toward Thee, and rid of all attachment to anyone save Thyself, and clinging to Thy cord, through whose movement the whole creation hath been stirred up. I am Thy servant, O my Lord, and the son of Thy servant. Behold me standing ready to do Thy will and Thy desire, and wishing naught else except Thy good pleasure. I implore Thee by the Ocean of Thy mercy and the Daystar of Thy grace to do with Thy servant as Thou willest and pleasest. By Thy might which is far above all mention and praise! Whatsoever is revealed by Thee is the desire of my heart and the beloved of my soul. O God, my God! Look not upon my hopes and my doings, nay rather look upon Thy will that hath encompassed the heavens and the earth. By Thy Most Great Name, O Thou Lord of all nations! I have desired only what Thou didst desire, and love only what Thou dost love.
Let him then kneel, and bowing his forehead to the ground, let him say:
Exalted art Thou above the description of anyone save Thyself, and the comprehension of aught else except Thee.
Let him then stand and say:
Make my prayer, O my Lord, a fountain of living waters whereby I may live as long as Thy sovereignty endureth, and may make mention of Thee in every world of Thy worlds.
Let him again raise his hands in supplication, and say:
O Thou in separation from Whom hearts and souls have melted, and by the fire of Whose love the whole world hath been set aflame! I implore Thee by Thy Name through which Thou hast subdued the whole creation, not to withhold from me that which is with Thee, O Thou Who rulest over all men! Thou seest, O my Lord, this stranger hastening to his most exalted home beneath the canopy of Thy majesty and within the precincts of Thy mercy; and this transgressor seeking the ocean of Thy forgiveness; and this lowly one the court of Thy glory; and this poor creature the orient of Thy wealth. Thine is the authority to command whatsoever Thou willest. I bear witness that Thou art to be praised in Thy doings, and to be obeyed in Thy behests, and to remain unconstrained in Thy bidding.
Let him then raise his hands, and repeat three times the Greatest Name (Alláh-u-Abhá). Let him then bend down with hands resting on the knees before God - blessed and exalted be He - and say:
Thou seest, O my God, how my spirit hath been stirred up within my limbs and members, in its longing to worship Thee, and in its yearning to remember Thee and extol Thee; how it testifieth to that whereunto the Tongue of Thy Commandment hath testified in the kingdom of Thine utterance and the heaven of Thy knowledge. I love, in this state, O my Lord, to beg to Thee all that is with Thee, that I may demonstrate my poverty, and magnify Thy bounty and Thy riches, and may declare my powerlessness, and manifest Thy power and Thy might.
Let him then stand and raise his hands twice in supplication, and say:
There is no God but Thee, the Almighty, the All-Bountiful. There is no God but Thee, the Ordainer, both in the beginning and in the end. O God, my God! Thy forgiveness hath emboldened me, and Thy mercy hath strengthened me, and Thy call hath awakened me, and Thy grace hath raised me up and led me unto Thee. Who, otherwise, am I that I should dare to stand at the gate of the city of Thy nearness, or set my face toward the lights that are shining from the heaven of Thy will? Thou seest, O my Lord, this wretched creature knocking at the door of Thy grace, and this evanescent soul seeking the river of everlasting life from the hands of Thy bounty. Thine is the command at all times, O Thou Who art the Lord of all names; and mine is resignation and willing submission to Thy will, O Creator of the heavens!
Let him then raise his hands thrice, and say:
Greater is God than every great one!
Let him then kneel and, bowing his forehead to the ground, say:
Too high art Thou for the praise of those who are nigh unto Thee to ascend unto the heaven of Thy nearness, or for the birds of the hearts of them who are devoted to Thee to attain to the door of Thy gate. I testify that Thou hast been sanctified above all attributes and holy above all names. No God is there but Thee, the Most Exalted, the All-Glorious.
Let him then seat himself and say:
I testify unto that whereunto have testified all created things, and the Concourse on high, and the inmates of the all-highest Paradise, and beyond them the Tongue of Grandeur itself from the all-glorious Horizon, that Thou art God, that there is no God but Thee, and that He who hath been manifested is the Hidden Mystery, the Treasured Symbol, through Whom the letters B and E (Be) have been joined and knit together. I testify that it is He Whose name hath been set down by the Pen of the Most High, and Who hath been mentioned in the Books of God, the Lord of the Throne on high and of earth below.
Let him then stand erect and say:
O Lord of all being and Possessor of all things visible and invisible! Thou dost perceive my tears and the sighs I utter, and hearest my groaning, and my wailing, and the lamentation of my heart. By Thy might! My trespasses have kept me back from drawing nigh unto Thee; and my sins have held me far from the court of Thy holiness. Thy love, O my Lord, hath enriched me, and separation from Thee hath destroyed me, and remoteness from Thee hath consumed me. I entreat Thee by Thy footsteps in this wilderness, and by the words "Here am I. Here am I" which Thy chosen Ones have uttered in this immensity, and by the breaths of Thy Revelation, and the gentle winds of the Dawn of Thy Manifestation, to ordain that I may gaze on Thy beauty and observe whatsoever is in Thy Book.
Let him then repeat the Greatest Name thrice, and bend down with hands resting on the knees, and say:
Praise be to Thee, O my God, that Thou hast aided me to remember Thee and to praise Thee, and hast made known unto me Him Who is the Dayspring of Thy signs, and hast caused me to bow down before Thy Lordship, and humble myself before Thy Godhead, and to acknowledge that which hath been uttered by the Tongue of Thy grandeur.
Let him then rise and say:
O God, my God! My back is bowed by the burden of my sins, and my heedlessness hath destroyed me. Whenever I ponder my evil doings and Thy benevolence, my heart melteth within me, and my blood boileth in my veins. By Thy Beauty, O Thou the Desire of the world! I blush to lift up my face to Thee, and my longing hands are ashamed to stretch forth toward the heaven of Thy bounty. Thou seest, O my God, how my tears prevent me from remembering Thee and from extolling Thy virtues, O Thou the Lord of the Throne on high and of earth below! I implore Thee by the signs of Thy Kingdom and the mysteries of Thy Dominion to do with Thy loved ones as becometh Thy bounty, O Lord of all being, and is worthy of Thy grace, O King of the seen and the unseen!
Let him then repeat the Greatest Name thrice, and kneel with his forehead to the ground, and say:
Praise be unto Thee, O our God, that Thou hast sent down unto us that which draweth us nigh unto Thee, and supplieth us with every good thing sent down by Thee in Thy Books and Thy Scriptures. Protect us, we beseech Thee, O my Lord, from the hosts of idle fancies and vain imaginations. Thou, in truth, art the Mighty, the All-Knowing.
Let him then raise his head, and seat himself, and say:
I testify, O my God, to that whereunto Thy chosen Ones have testified, and acknowledge that which the inmates of the all-highest Paradise and those who have circled round Thy mighty Throne have acknowledged. The kingdoms of earth and heaven are Thine, O Lord of the worlds!
(I'w hadrodd unwaith bob dydd rhwng hanner dydd a machlud haul)
Tystiaf, O fy Nuw, i Ti fy nghreu i i'th adnabod Di ac i'th addoli Di. Tystiaf, ar y funud hon, i'm diymadferthedd ac i'th allu Di, i'm tlodi ac i'th gyfoeth Di. Nid oes Duw arall ond Ti, y Cymorth mewn Perygl, yr Hunangynhaliol.
(to be recited once a day between midday and sunset)
I bear witness, O my God, that Thou hast created me to know Thee and to worship Thee. I testify, at this moment, to my powerlessness and to Thy might, to my poverty and to Thy wealth. There is none other God but Thee, the Help in Peril, the Self-Subsisting.
O fy Nuw! Gofynnaf i Ti, trwy Dy Enw mwyaf gogoneddus i'm cynorthwyo yn yr hyn a bair i orchwylion Dy weision ffynnu, a'th ddinassoedd lewyrchu. Tydi, yn wir, sydd â grym dros bob peth!
O my God! I ask Thee, by Thy most glorious Name, to aid me in that which will cause the affairs of Thy servants to prosper, and Thy cities to flourish. Thou, indeed, hast power over all things!
A oes unrhyw Symudwr anawsterau ond Duw? Dywedwch: Clod i Dduw! Ef yw Duw! Mae pawb yn weision Iddo, a phawb yn cadw Ei orchmynion!
Is there any Remover of difficulties save God? Say: Praised be God! He is God! All are His servants and all abide by His bidding!
Dywedwch: Duw sydd yn bodloni pawb uwchlaw popeth, ac nid oes dim yn y nefoedd na'r ddaear ond Duw yn digoni. Yn wir, y mae ynddo Ef Ei hun yn Sawl a Ŵyr, yn Gynhaliwr, yr Hollwybodol.
Say: God sufficeth all things above all things, and nothing in the heavens or in the earth but God sufficeth. Verily, He is in Himself the Knower, the Sustainer, the Omnipotent.
O Arglwydd fy Nuw! Cynorthwya Dy anwyliaid i fod yn gadarn yn Dy Ffydd, i rodio yn Dy ffyrdd, i fod yn ddiymod yn Dy achos. Dyro iddynt Dy ras i wrthsefyll ymosodiad hunan a nwyd, i ddilyn golau cyfarwyddwyd dwyfol. Tydi wyt y Nerthol, y Graslawn, yr Hunan-Gynhaliol, y Rhoddwr, y Tosturiol, yr Hollalluog, yr Holl-Ddigonol.
O Lord my God! Assist Thy loved ones to be firm in Thy Faith, to walk in Thy ways, to be steadfast in Thy Cause. Give them Thy grace to withstand the onslaught of self and passion, to follow the light of divine guidance. Thou art the Powerful, the Gracious, the Self-Subsisting, the Bestower, the Compassionate, the Almighty, the All-Bountiful.
O Dduw, arwain fi, gwarchod fi, gwna fi yn lamp olau a seren ddisglair. Ti yw'r Nerthol a'r Grymus.
O Dduw! Maga'r baban hwn ym mynwes Dy gariad a rho laeth iddo o fron Dy Ragluniaeth. Tyfa'r planhigyn ffres hwn yn ngardd rosynnau Dy gariad a chynorthwya ef i dyfu trwy gawodydd Dy haelioni. Gwna ef yn blentyn y deyrnas, ac arwain ef i'th fröydd nefol Di. Yr wyt Ti yn rymus ac yn garedig, a Thi yw'r Rhoddwr, yr Hael, Arglwydd yr haelioni dihafal.
O God! Rear this little babe in the bosom of Thy love, and give it milk from the breast of Thy Providence. Cultivate this fresh plant in the rose garden of Thy love and aid it to grow through the showers of Thy bounty. Make it a child of the kingdom, and lead it to Thy heavenly realm. Thou art powerful and kind, and Thou art the Bestower, the Generous, the Lord of surpassing bounty.
O Dydi Arglwydd digymar! Bydded i'r plentyn sugno hwn ei fagu o fron Dy drugaredd, amddiffyn ef o fewn crud Dy ddiogelwch a'th nawdd, a bydded iddo gael ei fagu ym mreichiau Dy gariad tyner.
O Thou peerless Lord! Let this suckling babe be nursed from the breast of Thy loving-kindness, guard it within the cradle of Thy safety and protection and grant that it be reared in the arms of Thy tender affection.
O Dduw! Addysga'r plant yma. Y plant yma yw planhigion Dy berllan, blodau Dy ddôl, rhosynnau Dy ardd. Gad i'th wlaw ddisgyn arnynt; gad i Haul Gwirionedd dywynnu arnynt gyda'th gardiad. Gad i'th awel fwyn eu hadfywio fel iddynt gael hyfforddiant, tyfu a datblygu ac ymddangos yn yr harddwch eithaf. Tydi yw'r Rhoddwr. Tydi yw'r Trugarog.
O God! Educate these children. These children are the plants of Thine orchard, the flowers of Thy meadow, the roses of Thy garden. Let Thy rain fall upon them; let the Sun of Reality shine upon them with Thy love. Let Thy breeze refresh them in order that they may be trained, grow and develop, and appear in the utmost beauty. Thou art the Giver. Thou art the Compassionate.
O Arglwydd Caredig! Plentyn bach wyf fi, dyrchafa fi trwy fy nerbyn i'r deyrnas. Daearol wyf fi, gwna fi'n nefol; o'r byd islaw rwyf fi, gad i mi berthyn i'r deyrnas uwchlaw; yn dywyll drist, caniata i mi fod yn ddisglair; yn faterol, gwna fi yn ysbrydol, a chaniata i mi amlygu Dy roddion diderfyn.
Ti yw'r Grymus, yr Holl-Gariadus.
O Thou kind Lord! I am a little child, exalt me by admitting me to the kingdom. I am earthly, make me heavenly; I am of the world below, let me belong to the realm above; gloomy, suffer me to become radiant; material, make me spiritual, and grant that I may manifest Thine infinite bounties.
Thou art the Powerful, the All-Loving.
O fy Arglwydd! O fy Arglwydd! Plentyn bychan ydwyf fi. Rho faeth i mi o fron Dy drugaredd, hyffordda fi ym mynwes Dy gariad, addysga fi yn ysgol Dy arweiniad a datblyga fi yng nghysgod Dy haelioni. Achub fi o'r tywyllwch, gwna fi'n olau disglair; rhyddha fi o anhapusrwydd, gwna fi'n flodyn o'r ardd rosynnau; caniata i mi fod yn was Dy riniog a rho i mi ymagwedd a natur y cyfiawn; gwna fi yn achos llawnder i'r byd dynol a chorona fi â choron bywyd tragwyddol.
Yn wir, Ti yw'r Grymus, y Cryf, y Gweledydd, yr Un-sy'n-clywed.
O my Lord! O my Lord! I am a child of tender years. Nourish me from the breast of Thy mercy, train me in the bosom of Thy love, educate me in the school of Thy guidance and develop me under the shadow of Thy bounty! Deliver me from darkness, make me a brilliant light; free me from unhappiness, make me a flower of the rose-garden; suffer me to become the servant of Thy Threshold and confer upon me the disposition and nature of the righteous ones; make me a cause of bounty to the human world and crown my head with the diadem of eternal life!
Verily, Thou art the Powerful, the Mighty, the Seer, the Hearer!
Gwynfydedig yw’r llecyn, a’r tŷ
a’r fangre, a’r ddinas,
a’r galon, a’r mynydd,
a’r noddfa, a’r ogof,
a’r dyffryn, a’r tir,
a’r môr, a’r ynys,
a’r ddôl lle bu sôn am Dduw
ac y gogoneddwyd Ei glod.
Blessed is the spot, and the house,
and the place, and the city, and the heart, and the mountain,
and the refuge, and the cave, and the valley, and the land, and the sea, and the island,
and the meadow where mention of God hath been made, and His praise glorified.
Molwch bob dydd yr adnodau a ddatguddiwyd gan Dduw. Bendigedig yw’r dyn sy’n eu hadrodd ac un myfyrio arnynt. Mae ef yn wir yn un o’r rhai y bydd pob dim yn iawn iddynt.
Peruse ye every day the verses revealed by God. Blessed is the man who reciteth them and reflecteth upon them. He truly is of them with whom it shall be well.
Llarfargana, O Fy ngwas, adnodau Duw a dderbyniaist ti, fel llafarganwyd hwy gan y rhai sydd wedi nesáu ato Ef, fel y byddo melysder dy felodi’n cynnau dy enaid di dy hun, ac yn denu calonnau’r holl ddynion. Y sawl sy’n adrodd, yn nirgelfa ei ystafell, yr adnodau a ddatguddiwyd gan Duw, bydd angylion yr Hollalluog a wasgarwyd yn gwasgaru perarogl y geiriau a lefarwyd gan ei enau, a gwneud i galon pob dyn cyfiawn guro. Er iddo, ar y dechrau, fod yn anymwybodol o’i effaith, eto mae’n sicr y bydd rhinwedd y gras a roddwyd iddo ef yn hwyr neu’n hwyrach yn dylanwadu ar ei enaid. Felly y gorchmyn wyd dirgelion Datguddiad Duw trwy rinwedd ewyllys yr Hwn sy’n ffynhonnell gallu doethineb.
Intone, O My servant, the verses of God that have been received by thee, as intoned by them who have drawn nigh unto Him, that the sweetness of thy melody may kindle thine own soul, and attract the hearts of all men. Whoso reciteth, in the privacy of his chamber, the verses revealed by God, the scattering angels of the Almighty shall scatter abroad the fragrance of the words uttered by his mouth, and shall cause the heart of every righteous man to throb. Though he may, at first, remain unaware of its effect, yet the virtue of the grace vouchsafed unto him must needs sooner or later exercise its influence upon his soul. Thus have the mysteries of the Revelation of God been decreed by virtue of the Will of Him Who is the Source of power and wisdom.
O fy Nuw a'm Meistr! Dy was ydwyf a mab Dy was. Codais o'm gorweddfan y bore hwn pan fo Seren-Ddydd Dy uniondeb wedi dsigleirio ymaith oddi wrth Ffynnon-Ddydd Dy ewyllys, ac wedi tywallt ei lewyrch dros yr holl fyd, yn ôl yr hyn a ordeiniwyd yn Llyfrau Dy Orchymyn.
Clod fyddo i Ti, O fy Nuw, i ni ein deffro i ysblanderau golau Dy wybodaeth. Anfon i lawr, felly, arnom, O f'Arglwydd yr hyn a bâr i ni hepgor unrhyw un heblaw Tydi, ac a'n gwared ni rhag pob ymlyniad i unrhyw beth heblaw Tydi. O Tydi yr hwn wyt anwylyd yr holl greadigaeth a Dymuniad yr holl fydysawd, rhag y rhai y gwnaethost yn amlygiadau y Sibrydwr Drygionus, sy'n sibrwd ym mronnau dynion. Galluog wyt Ti, i wneuthur Dy blesser. Tydi, yn wir, wyt yr Hollalluog, y cymorth mewn Perygl. Y Hunan-Gynhaliol.

Bendithia, ymhellach, O fy Nuw, y rhai ydynt Dy Eiriau a'th Lythrennau, a'r rhai a osodasant eu hwynebau tuag atat Ti, a throi tuag at Dy wyneb, ac a wrando Dy alwad.
Tydi, yn wir, yw Arglwydd a Brenin pob dyn, ac wyt alluog dros bob peth.
O my God and my Master! I am Thy servant and the son of Thy servant. I have risen from my couch at this dawn-tide when the Day-Star of Thy oneness hath shone forth from the Day-Spring of Thy will, and hath shed its radiance upon the whole world, according to what had been ordained in the Books of Thy Decree.
Praise be unto Thee, O my God, that we have wakened to the splendors of the light of Thy knowledge. Send down, then, upon us, O my Lord, what will enable us to dispense with any one but Thee, and will rid us of all attachment to aught except Thyself. Write down, moreover, for me, and for such as are dear to me, and for my kindred, man and woman alike, the good of this world and the world to come. Keep us safe, then, through Thine unfailing protection, O Thou the Beloved of the entire creation and the Desire of the whole universe, from them whom Thou hast made to be the manifestations of the Evil Whisperer, who whisper in men's breasts. Potent art Thou to do Thy pleasure. Thou art, verily, the Almighty, the Help in Peril, the Self-Subsisting.
Bless Thou, O Lord my God, Him Whom Thou hast set over Thy most excellent Titles, and through Whom Thou hast divided between the godly and the wicked, and graciously aid us to do what Thou lovest and desirest. Bless Thou, moreover, O my God, them Who are Thy Words and Thy Letters, and them who have set their faces towards Thee, and turned unto Thy face, and hearkened to Thy Call.
Thou art, truly, the Lord and King of all men, and art potent over all things.
Pa fodd y gallaf gysgu, O Dduw, fy Nuw, pan fo llygaid y rhai a hiraethant amdanat yn effro oherwydd eu hymnieulltuaeth oddi wrthyt; a pha fodd y gallaf orwedd i orffwys pan fo eneidiau Dy anwyliaid yn eu pellter oddi wrthyt?
Ymrwymais, O f'Arglwydd, f'ysbryd a'm holl fodolaeth i ddeheulaw Dy nerth a'th nodded, a rhof fy mhen ar fy ngobennydd trwy Dy allu, a chodaf ef yn ôl Dy ewyllys a'th bleser. Tydi wyt, yn wir, y Cynhaliwr, y Ceidwad, yr Hollalluog, y mwyaf Grymus.
Trwy Dy nerth! Ni ofynnaf, yng nghwsg neu'n effro, ond yr hyn y mynni Di. Dy was ydwyf ac yn Dy ddwylo. Trwy Dy ras cymorth fi i wneud yr hyn a fwrw ymaith berarogl Dy bleser. Dyma, yn wir, yw fy ngobaith a gobaith y rhain a fedd agosrwydd atat Ti. Clod fyddo i Ti, O Arglwydd y bydoedd.
How can I choose to sleep, O God, my God, when the eyes of them that long for Thee are wakeful because of their separation from Thee; and how can I lie down to rest whilst the souls of Thy lovers are sore vexed in their remoteness from Thy presence?
I have committed, O my Lord, my spirit and my entire being into the right hand of Thy might and Thy protection, and I lay my head on my pillow through Thy power, and lift it up according to Thy will and Thy good-pleasure. Thou art, in truth, the Preserver, the Keeper, the Almighty, the Most Powerful.
By Thy might! I ask not, whether sleeping or waking, but that which Thou dost desire. I am Thy servant and in Thy hands. Do Thou graciously aid me to do what will shed forth the fragrance of Thy good pleasure. This, truly, is my hope and the hope of them that enjoy near access to Thee. Praised be Thou, O Lord of the worlds!
O fy Arglwydd, rwyf wedi ymddiried
fy ysbryd a'm holl fodolaeth i ddeheulaw Dy nerth a Dy amddiffyn,
a rhoddaf fy mhen ar fy ngobennydd trwy dy rym,a'i godi yn ôl Dy ewyllys
a Dy fodd daionus Di.
Tydi, yn wir,yw'r Amddiffynnwr, y Ceidwad,yr Hollalluog, y Mwyaf Grymus.
I have committed, O my Lord, my spirit and my entire being into the right hand of Thy might and Thy protection, and I lay my head on my pillow through Thy power, and lift it up according to Thy will and Thy good-pleasure. Thou art, in truth, the Preserver, the Keeper, the Almighty, the Most Powerful
O fy Nuw, O f'Arglwydd, O fy Meistr! Erfyniaf arnat i faddau i mi am geisio unrhyw bleser ond Dy gariad, neu unrhyw gysur ond Dy agosrwydd, neu unrhyw hyfrydwch ond Dy holl-bleser, neu unrhyw fodolaeth ond cymundeb gyda Thi.
O my God, O my Lord, O my Master! I beg Thee to forgive me for seeking any pleasure save Thy love, or any comfort except Thy nearness, or any delight besides Thy good-pleasure, or any existence other than communion with Thee.
Clod i Ti, O Arglwydd.
Maddau i ni ein pechodau,
bydd yn raslon tuag atom
a galluoga ni i ddychwelyd atat Ti...
Yn wir, Ti yw'r Cymorth mewn Perygl, yr Hunan-gynhaliol.
Praise be unto Thee, O Lord. Forgive us our sins, have mercy upon us and enable us to return unto Thee.
Verily, Thou art the Help in Peril, the Self-Subsisting.
O fy Nuw!
Na fydded i mi unrhyw ddrwg
mewn cyfnodau o dreialon,
ac mewn munudau diofal

trwy Dy ysbrydoliaeth.
O my God! Let no harm beset me in times of tests, and in moments of heedlessness guide my steps aright through Thine inspiration.
Rho i mi fy nghyfran, O Arglwydd, yn ôl dy ddymuniad,a gwna fi'n fodlon ar beth bynnagyr Wyt wedi ei ordeinio ar fy nghyfer.Tydi sydd â'r awdurdod terfynol i orchymyn.

Yn wir, Tydi yw'r Rhoddwr, Ti yw'r Un Caredig a thydi yw'r Hollalluog.

O Thou kind Lord! Thou hast created all humanity from the same stock. Thou hast decreed that all shall belong to the same household. In Thy Holy Presence they are all Thy servants, and all mankind are sheltered beneath Thy Tabernacle; all have gathered together at Thy Table of Bounty; all are illumined through the light of Thy Providence.

Yn wir, Tydi yw'r Rhoddwr, yr Hael, y Tosturiol, y Maddeugar.
O seeker of Truth! If thou desirest that God my open thine eye, thou must supplicate unto God, pray to and commune with Him at midnight, saying:
O Lord, I have turned my face unto Thy kingdom of oneness and am immersed in the sea of Thy mercy. O Lord, enlighten my sight by beholding Thy lights in this dark night, and make me happy by the wine of Thy love in this wonderful age. O Lord, make me hear Thy call, and open before my face the doors of Thy heaven, so that I may see the light of Thy glory and become attracted to Thy beauty.
Verily, Thou art the Giver, the Generous, the Merciful, the Forgiving.
Deffroais yn Dy loches, O fy Nuw, a gweddus i'r hwn a geisia'r lloches honno yw trigo yn Noddfa Dy Ddiogelwch a Chaer Dy Amddiffyniad. Gloywa fy mod mewnol, O fy Arglwydd, gydag ysblanderau Ffynnon-Ddydd Dy Ddatguddiad, megis y gloywaist fy mod allanol â golau boreol Dy ffafr.
I have wakened in Thy shelter, O my God, and it becometh him that seeketh that shelter to abide within the Sanctuary of Thy protection and the Stronghold of Thy defense. Illumine my inner being, O my Lord, with the splendors of the Day-Spring of Thy Revelation, even as Thou didst illumine my outer being with the morning light of Thy favour.
O Dduw, fy Nuw, f’anwylyd, Dymuniad fy nghalon.

Y Grasol, y Bendigedig, y Nerthol, a'r Hollalluog, ydwyt Ti.
'Abdu'l-Bahá
O Lord, my God and my Haven in my distress! My Shield and my Shelter in my woes! My Asylum and Refuge in time of need and in my loneliness my Companion! In my anguish my Solace, and in my solitude a loving Friend! The Remover of the pangs of my sorrows and the Pardoner of my sins!
Wholly unto Thee do I turn, fervently imploring Thee with all my heart, my mind and my tongue, to shield me from all that runs counter to Thy will in this, the cycle of Thy divine unity, and to cleanse me of all defilement that will hinder me from seeking, stainless and unsullied, the shade of the tree of Thy grace.
Have mercy, O Lord, on the feeble, make whole the sick, and quench the burning thirst.
Gladden the bosom wherein the fire of Thy love doth smoulder, and set it aglow with the flame of Thy celestial love and spirit.
Robe the tabernacles of divine unity with the vesture of holiness, and set upon my head the crown of Thy favour.
Illumine my face with the radiance of the orb of Thy bounty, and graciously aid me in ministering at Thy holy threshold.
Make my heart overflow with love for Thy creatures and grant that I may become the sign of Thy mercy, the token of Thy grace, the promoter of concord amongst Thy loved ones, devoted unto Thee, uttering Thy commemoration and forgetful of self but ever mindful of what is Thine.
O God, my God! Stay not from me the gentle gales of Thy pardon and grace, and deprive me not of the wellsprings of Thine aid and favor.
'Neath the shade of Thy protecting wings let me nestle, and cast upon me the glance of Thine all-protecting eye.
Loose my tongue to laud Thy name amidst Thy people that my voice may be raised in great assemblies and from my lips may stream the flood of Thy praise.
Thou art, in all truth, the Gracious, the Glorified, the Mighty, the Omnipotent.
Clodforer Dy Enwy, O fy Nuw. Tystiaf na all unrhyw amgyffred ohonot, pa mor ryfeddol y bo, erioed esgyn i nefoedd. Dy wybodaeth, ac na all unrhyw foliant ohonot, pa mor ragorol y bo ehedeg i awyrgylch Dy ddoethineb. Buost erioed ymhell uwchlaw cyrraedd a dirnadaeth amgyffred Dy weision, ac wedi Dy ddyrchafu yn anfesuradwy goruwch ymdrechion Dy gaethweision i fynegi Dy ddirgelwch. Pa nerth a all creadur cysgodol hawlio pan yn wyneb yn wyneb â'r Hwn nas crewyd? Tystiaf nad yw ystyriaethau pennaf y rhai oll a garant Dy Undod a myfyrdodau dwysaf y rhai oll a'th adnabyddant oll ond ffrwyth yr hyn a gynhyrchwyd trwy symudiad ysgrifell Dy orchymyn ac a anwyd trwy Dy ewyllys. Tyngaf wrth Dy ogoniant, O Tydi yr hwn wyt Anwylyd fy enaid a Ffynnon fy mywyd! Yn ddiamau o'm gwendid, di-allu ydwyf i'th ddisgrifio a'th ganmol mewn modd sydd weddus o fawredd Dy ogoniant a rhagoriaeth Dy urddas. Yn ymwybodol, gan hynny, o'm gwendid erfyniaf arnat, trwy Dy dosturi sy'n drech na'r holl greadigaeth, i dderbyn gan Dy weision yr hyn a allant gynnig yn Dy lwybr. Nertha hwynt, felly, drwy Dy ras sy'n cadarnhau, i ddyrchafu Dy enw ac i gyhoeddi Dy fawl.
Grymus ydwyt i wneuthur yr hyn a fynni. Tydi, yn wir, yw'r Holl-Ogoneddus, a'r Holl Ddoeth.
Lauded be Thy name, O my God! I testify that no thought of Thee, howsoever wondrous, can ever ascend into the heaven of Thy knowledge, and no praise of Thee, no matter how transcendent, can soar up to the atmosphere of Thy wisdom. From eternity Thou hast been removed far above the reach and the ken of the comprehension of Thy servants, and immeasurably exalted above the strivings of Thy bondslaves to express Thy mystery. What power can the shadowy creature claim to possess when face to face with Him Who is the Uncreated? I bear witness that the highest thoughts of all such as adore Thy unity, and the profoundest contemplations of all them that have recognized Thee, are but the product of what hath been generated through the movement of the Pen of Thy behest, and hath been begotten by Thy will. I swear by Thy glory, O Thou Who art the Beloved of my soul and the Fountain of my life! I am persuaded of my powerlessness to describe and extol Thee in a manner that becometh the greatness of Thy glory and the excellence of Thy majesty. Aware as I am of this, I beseech Thee, by Thy mercy that hath surpassed all created things, and Thy grace that hath embraced the entire creation, to accept from Thy servants what they are capable of showing forth in Thy path. Aid them, then, by Thy strengthening grace, to exalt Thy word and to blazon Thy praise.
Powerful art Thou to do what pleaseth Thee. Thou, truly, art the All-Glorious, the All-Wise.
Rwyt Ti yn fy ngweld, O Arglwydd, wedi ymbellhau oddi wrth bopeth ond Tydi,yn gafael yn llinyn Dy haelioni ac yn dyheu am ryfeddodau Dy ras. Gofynnaf i Ti, yn enw awelon tragwyddol Dy ofal cariadus a golau disglair Dy ofal tyner a'th ffafr,i ganiatáu'r hyn a'm dena atat Ti a'm gwneud yn gyfoethog yn Dy gyfoeth Di.
Thou seest me, O Lord, detached from all things but Thee, clinging to the cord of Thy bounty and craving the wonders of Thy grace. I ask Thee, by the eternal billows of Thy loving-kindness and the shining lights of Thy tender care and favour, to grant that which shall draw me nigh unto thee and make me rich in Thy wealth
Efe yw'r Tosturiol, yr Haelionus!
O Dduw, fy Nuw! Ti a'm gweli, Ti a'm adnabyddi; Ti yw fy Hafau a'm Noddfa. Ni cheisiais ac ni cheisiaf neb ond Tydi. Ni cherddais ac ni cherddaf lwybr ond llwybr Dy gariad. Yn nyfnder nos anobaith fy llgad a dry yn eiddgar ac yn llawn gobaith at fore Dy ffafr ddiderfyn, a chyda'r wawr fy enaid llaes a adfywhâ ac a gryfhâ yng nghoffadwriaeth o'th harddwch a'th berffeithrwydd. Yr hwn a gymhorthir gan ras Dy faddeuant, er nad ydyw ond diferyn, bydd megis eigion diderfyn; a'r mymryn lleiaf a gymhorthir gan ffrwd Dy drugaredd a ddisgleira megis seren ddisglair.
Cysgoda dan Dy nawdd, O Dydi Ysbryd Purdeb, Ti yr Hwn wyt Ddarparwr Holl Haelionus, y gwas hwn o'r eiddo Ti a swynwyd ac a enynnwyd. Cynorthwya ef yn y byd hwn o fodolaeth i aros yn ddiymod ac yn gadarn yn Dy gariad a dyro i'r aderyn dor-adain hwn gyrraedd noddfa a chysgod yn Dy ddwyfol nyth a drig ar y goeden nefol.
He is the Compassionate, the All-Bountiful! O God, my God! Thou seest me, Thou knowest me; Thou art my Haven and my Refuge. None have I sought nor any will I seek save Thee; no path have I trodden nor any will I tread but the path of Thy love. In the darksome night of despair, my eye turneth expectant and full of hope to the morn of Thy boundless favor and at the hour of dawn my drooping soul is refreshed and strengthened in remembrance of Thy beauty and perfection. He whom the grace of Thy mercy aideth, though he be but a drop, shall become the boundless ocean, and the merest atom which the outpouring of Thy loving-kindness assisteth, shall shine even as the radiant star. Shelter under Thy protection, O Thou Spirit of purity, Thou Whom art the All-Bountiful Provider, this enthralled, enkindled servant of Thine. Aid him in this world of being to remain steadfast and firm in Thy love and grant that this broken-winged bird attain a refuge and shelter in Thy divine nest that abideth upon the celestial tree.

Ymgynullasom yn y cynulliad ysbrydol hwn yn un ein barn a'n meddyliau, gyda'n bwriadau wedi eu cysoni I ddyrchafu Dy Air umhlith dynion. O Arglwydd ein Euw! Gwna ni yn arwyddion o'th gyfarwyddyd dwyfol, baneri Dy Ffydd ddyrchafedig ymhlith dynion, gweision I'th Gyfamod nerthol, O Tydi ein Harglywydd Mwyaf Dyrchafedig, amlygiad o'th Undod Dwyfol yn Dy Deyrnas Abhá, a sêr disglair yn pefrio dros yr holl ardaloedd. Arglwydd! Cynorthwya ni I fod yn foroedd yn ymchwyddo gyda thonnau Dy ras rhyfeddol, ffrwd yn llifo o'th uchelderau holl-ogoneddus, ffrwythau da ar goeden Dy achos nefol, coed yn ysgwyd drwy awelon Dy haelioni yn Dy winllan nefol. O Dduw! Gwna ein hysbrydion yn ddibynnol ar adnodau Dy Undod Dwyfol, ein calonnau un llon drwy dywalltion Dy ras, fel y cawn uno hyd yn oed megis tonnau yr un môr a'n cyfuno megis peldrau Dy olau disglair; I'n meddyliau, ein barnau, ein teimladau, fod megis un gwirionedd, yn amlygu ysbryd undod trwy'r holl fyd. Tydi yw'r Grasol, yr Haelionus, u Cyflwynwr, yr Hollalluog, y Tosturiol, y Trugarog.

Make us the signs of Thy Divine Guidance, the Standards of Thy exalted Faith amongst men, servants to Thy mighty Covenant. O Thou our Lord Most High! Manifestations of Thy Divine Unity in Thine Abha Kingdom, and resplendent stars shining upon all regions. Lord! Aid us to become seas surging with the billows of Thy wondrous Grace, streams flowing from Thy all-glorious Heights, goodly fruits upon the Tree of Thy heavenly Cause, trees waving through the breezes of Thy Bounty in Thy celestial Vineyard. O God! Make our souls dependent upon the Verses of Thy Divine Unity, our hearts cheered with the outpourings of Thy Grace, that we may unite even as the waves of one sea and become merged together as the rays of Thine effulgent Light; that our thoughts, our views, our feelings may become as one reality, manifesting the spirit of union throughout the world. Thou art the Gracious, the Bountiful, the Bestower, the Almighty, the Merciful, the Compassionate.
Clod fyddo i ti, O Arglwydd fy Nuw! Tystiaf y buost erioed yn ddyrchafedig yn Dy fawredd aruchel a'th rym, ac y byddi'n aros yn dragywydd yn Dy ogoniant a'th nerth rhagorol. Ti a wnei fel y mynni yn ôl Dy orchymyn; a thrwy nerth Dy frenhiniaeth y llywodraethi.
Erfyniaf arnat, O Dydi yr hwn a wna i'r wawr dorri, trwy Dy lusern a oleuaist gyda thân Dy gariad ger bron holl drigolion nef a daear, a'r fflam ynddi a gyflenwi gyda thanwydd Dy ddoethineb yn nheyrnas Dy greadigaeth, i'm gwneud yn un o'r rhai a esgynnodd yn Dy awyrgylch, ac ildiodd eu hewyllys i'th ddeddf.
Cwbl druenus ydwyf i O fy Arglwydd, a Thydi yw'r Mwyaf Nerthol, yr Hollalluog. Bydd dosturiol wrthyf trwy Dy ras a'th ffafr haelionus, ac yn rasol cymorth fi i'th wasanaethu Di a'r rhai sydd annwyl i Ti. Galluog wyt i wneud fel y mynni. Nid oes Dduw ond Tydi, Duw nerth, Duw gogoniant a doethineb.
Praised be Thou, O Lord my God! I bear witness that from eternity Thou wert exalted in Thy transcendent majesty and might, and wilt to eternity abide in Thy surpassing power and glory. None in the kingdoms of earth and heaven can frustrate Thy purpose; none throughout the realms of revelation and of creation can prevail against Thee. At Thy command Thou doest what Thou willest, and by the power of Thy sovereignty Thou rulest as Thou pleasest.
I implore Thee, O Thou Who causest the dawn to appear, by Thy Lamp which Thou didst light with the fire of Thy love before all that are in heaven and on earth, and whose flame Thou feedest with the fuel of Thy wisdom in the kingdom of Thy creation, to make me to be of those who have soared in Thine atmosphere, and surrendered their will to Thy decree.
I am all wretchedness, O my Lord, and Thou art the Most Powerful, the Almighty. Have pity upon me by Thy grace and bountiful favor, and graciously aid me to serve Thee and them that are dear to Thee. Potent art Thou to do as Thou willest. No God is there but Thee, the God of strength, of glory and wisdom.

O flaen Dy wynepryd, yng ngardd D'anfarwoldeb gad i mi aros yn oes oesodd, Tydi yr Hwn wyt drugarog wrthyf, ac ar orseddfainc Dy ogononiant dyro i mi eistedd, O Tydi yr Hwn wyt fy meddiannwr! Cod fi i nefoedd Dy drugaredd, O Tydi sydd yn fy mywhau, a thywys fi tuag at seren ddydd Dy gyfarwyddyd, O Tydi sydd yn fy nenu! Galw fi i fod yn bresennol o flaen datguddiad D'ysbryd anweledig, Ti yr Hwn wyt fy Ngwraidd a'm Dymuniad Pennaf, ac i hanfod bersawr Dy harddwch, a amlygir gennyt, gâd i mi ddychwelyd, O Tydi yr Hwn wyt fy Nuw!
Galluog ydwyt i wneuthur yr hyn a fynni. Tydi, yn wir, yw'r Mwyaf Dyrchafedig, y Mwyaf Gogoneddus, y Goruchaf.
From the sweet-scented streams of Thine eternity give me to drink, O my God, and of the fruits of the tree of Thy being enable me to taste, O my Hope! From the crystal springs of Thy love suffer me to quaff, O my Glory, and beneath the shadow of Thine everlasting providence let me abide, O my Light! Within the meadows of Thy nearness, before Thy presence, make me able to roam, O my Beloved, and at the right hand of the throne of Thy mercy, seat me, O my Desire! From the fragrant breezes of Thy joy let a breath pass over me, O my Goal, and into the heights of the paradise of Thy reality let me gain admission, O my Adored One! To the melodies of the dove of Thy oneness suffer me to hearken, O Resplendent One, and through the spirit of Thy power and Thy might quicken me, O my Provider! In the spirit of Thy love keep me steadfast, O my Succorer, and in the path of Thy good-pleasure set firm my steps, O my Maker! Within the garden of Thine immortality, before Thy countenance, let me abide for ever, O Thou Who art merciful unto me, and upon the seat of Thy glory stablish me, O Thou Who art my Possessor! To the heaven of Thy loving-kindness lift me up, O my Quickener, and unto the Day-Star of Thy guidance lead me, O Thou my Attractor! Before the revelations of Thine invisible spirit summon me to be present, O Thou Who art my Origin and my Highest Wish, and unto the essence of the fragrance of Thy beauty, which Thou wilt manifest, cause me to return, O Thou Who art my God!
Potent art Thou to do what pleasest Thee. Thou art, verily, the Most Exalted, the All-Glorious, the All-Highest.

Say: O God, my God! Attire mine head with the crown of justice, and my temple with the ornament of equity. Thou, verily, art the Possessor of all gifts and bounties.
O Arglwydd! Gwan ydym; cryfhâ ni. O Dduw! Anwybodus ydym, dyro i ni wybodaeth. O Arglwydd! Tlawd ydym; gwna ni'n gyfoethog. O Dduw! Rydym feirw; dyro fywyd ynom. O Arglwydd! Yr ydym yn llwyr ddarostyngedig; yn Dy Deyrnas gogonedda ni. Pe cawn Dy gymorth, O Dduw, byddwn fel sêr yn pefrio. Pen a chawn Dy gymorth, byddwn yn is na'r llawr. O Arglwydd! Cryfhâ ni. O Dduw! Dyro fuddugoliaeth i ni. O Dduw! Galluoga ni i goncro hunanoldeb a gorchfygu chwant. O Arglwydd! Gwared ni rhag caethiwed y byd materol. O Arglwydd! Dyro fywyd i ni drwy anadl yr Ysbryd Glân, fel y cyfodwn i'th wasanaethu, ymgymryd a'th addoli Di, ac ymegnïo'n ddidwyll yn Dy Deyrnas. O Arglwydd, Grymus wyt! O Dduw, Maddeugar wyt! O Arglwydd, Trugarog wyt!
O Lord! We are weak; strengthen us. O God! We are ignorant; make us knowing. O Lord! We are poor; make us wealthy. O God! We are dead; quicken us. O Lord! We are humiliation itself; glorify us in Thy Kingdom. If Thou dost assist us, O Lord, we shall become as scintillating stars. If Thou dost not assist us, we shall become lower than the earth. O Lord! Strengthen us. O God! Confer victory upon us. O God! Enable us to conquer self and overcome desire. O Lord! Deliver us from the bondage of the material world. O Lord! Quicken us through the breath of the Holy Spirit in order that we may arise to serve Thee, engage in worshiping Thee and exert ourselves in Thy Kingdom with the utmost sincerity. O Lord, Thou art powerful. O God, Thou art forgiving. O Lord, Thou art compassionate.
O fy Arglwydd! Bydded Dy brydferthwch yn fwyd i mi, a'th bresenoldeb yn ddiod i mi, a'th bleser yn obaith i mi, a grym Dy sofraniaeth yn gynhaliaeth i mi, a'th gynefin yn gartref i mi, a'm trigfan i yn sedd yr wyt Ti wedi'i sancteiddio rhag y cyfyngiadau a osodwyd arnynt hwy sydd wedi'u cau allan oddi wrthyt Ti fel pe gan len.

O my Lord! Make Thy beauty to be my food, and Thy presence my drink, and Thy pleasure my hope, and praise of Thee my action, and remembrance of Thee my companion, and the power of Thy sovereignty my succorer, and Thy habitation my home, and my dwelling-place the seat Thou hast sanctified from the limitations imposed upon them who are shut out as by a veil from Thee.
Thou art, verily, the Almighty, the All-Glorious, the Most Powerful.
O Arglwydd! Trof fy wyneb tuag atat,

Gwna fi megis llusern yn disgleirio trwy Dy diroedd, fel y bo i'r rhai hynny sydd â goleuni Dy wybodaeth yn tywynnu a hiraeth am dy gariad yn aros

O Lord! Unto Thee have I turned my face, detached from all save Thee and holding fast to the hem of the robe of Thy manifold blessings. Unloose my tongue therefore to proclaim that which will captivate the minds of men and will rejoice their souls and spirits. Strengthen me then in Thy Cause in such wise that I may not be hindered by the ascendancy of the oppressors among Thy creatures nor withheld by the onslaught of the disbelievers amidst those who dwell in Thy realm. Make me as a lamp shining throughout Thy lands that those in whose hearts the light of Thy knowledge gloweth and the yearning for Thy love lingereth may be guided by its radiance.
O Dydi, y Duw Digymar! O Arglwydd y Deyrnas! Yr eneidiau hyn yw Dy fyddin nefol. Cynorthwya hwynt, a chyda minteioedd Llu'r Goruchaf dyro iddynt fuddugoliaeth; fel y byddont oll megis catrawd, a gorchfygant y gwledydd hyn drwy gariad Duw a goleuni'r ddysgeidiaeth ddwyfol.
O Dduw! Bydd yn gynhaliwr ac yn gymorth iddynt, ac yn yr anialwch y mynydd, y dyffryn, y goedwig, y gweindir a'r moroedd, bydd yn ymddiriedwr iddynt - fel y bydded iddynt lefain trwy rym y Deyrnas ac anadl yr Ysbryd Glân.
Yn wir, Tydi yw'r Grymus, y Nerthol a'r Hollalluog a Thydi, yw'r Doeth, y Gwrandawr a'r Canfyddwr.
O Thou incomparable God! O Thou Lord of the Kingdom! These souls are Thy heavenly army. Assist them and, with the cohorts of the Supreme Concourse, make them victorious, so that each one of them may become like unto a regiment and conquer these countries through the love of God and the illumination of divine teachings.
O God! Be Thou their supporter and their helper, and in the wilderness, the mountain, the valley, the forests, the prairies and the seas, be Thou their confidant - so that they may cry out through the power of the Kingdom and the breath of the Holy Spirit.
Verily, Thou art the Powerful, the Mighty and the Omnipotent, and Thou art the Wise, the Hearing and the Seeing.

I have risen this morning by Thy grace, O my God, and left my home trusting wholly in Thee, and committing myself to Thy care. Send down, then, upon me, out of the heaven of Thy mercy, a blessing from Thy side, and enable me to return home in safety even as Thou didst enable me to set out under Thy protection with my thoughts fixed steadfastly upon Thee.
There is none other God but Thee, the One, the Incomparable, the All-Knowing, the All-Wise.
O Dduw! O Dduw! Rwyf wedi cychwyn o'm cartref, yn gafael yn dynn yn llinyn Dy gariad,ac rwyf wedi cyflwyno fy hun yn llwyr i Dy ofal a'th amddiffyn...

O God, my God! I have set out from my home, holding fast unto the cord of Thy love, and I have committed myself wholly to Thy care and Thy protection... Enable me, then, to return to my home by Thy power and Thy might. Thou art, truly, the Almighty, the Help in Peril, the Self-Subsisting.

O Thou Who art the Lord of Lords! I testify that Thou art the Lord of all creation, and the Educator of all beings, visible and invisible. I bear witness that Thy power hath encompassed the entire universe, and that the hosts of the earth can never dismay Thee, nor can the dominion of all peoples and nations deter Thee from executing Thy purpose. I confess that Thou hast no desire except the regeneration of the whole world, and the establishment of the unity of its peoples, and the salvation of all them that dwell therein.
Bydded i Dduw ganiatau i olau undod amgylchynu'r holl ddaear, a'r sêl 'Eiddo Duw yw y Deyrnas' ei osod ar dalcen ei holl bobloedd.

Yn wir, Tydi yw eu Cynorthwywr a'u Harglwydd.
O my God! O my God! Unite the hearts of Thy servants, and reveal to them Thy great purpose. May they follow Thy commandments and abide in Thy law. Help them, O God, in their endeavor, and grant them strength to serve Thee. O God! Leave them not to themselves, but guide their steps by the light of Thy knowledge, and cheer their hearts by Thy love. Verily, Thou art their Helper and their Lord.

The Kitáb-i-Aqdas states: "We have commanded you to pray and fast from the beginning of maturity [15 year]; this is ordained by God, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers.... The traveler, the ailing, those who are with child or giving suck, are not bound by the fast.... Abstain from food and drink, from sunrise to sundown, and beware lest desire deprive you of this grace that is appointed in the Book."
The period of the Fast is March 2 through March 20.
I beseech Thee, O my God, by Thy mighty Sign, and by the revelation of Thy grace amongst men, to cast me not away from the gate of the city of Thy presence, and to disappoint not the hopes I have set on the manifestations of Thy grace amidst Thy creatures. Thou seest me, O my God, holding to Thy Name, the Most Holy, the Most Luminous, the Most Mighty, the Most Great, the Most Exalted, the Most Glorious, and clinging to the hem of the robe to which have clung all in this world and in the world to come.
I beseech Thee, O my God, by Thy most sweet Voice and by Thy most exalted Word, to draw me ever nearer to the threshold of Thy door, and to suffer me not to be far removed from the shadow of Thy mercy and the canopy of Thy bounty. Thou seest me, O my God, holding to Thy Name, the Most Holy, the Most Luminous, the Most Mighty, the Most Great, the Most Exalted, the Most Glorious, and clinging to the hem of the robe to which have clung all in this world and in the world to come.
I beseech Thee, O my God, by the splendor of Thy luminous brow and the brightness of the light of Thy countenance, which shineth from the all-highest horizon, to attract me by the fragrance of Thy raiment, and make me drink of the choice wine of Thine utterance. Thou seest me, O my God, holding to Thy Name, the Most Holy, the Most Luminous, the Most Mighty, the Most Great, the Most Exalted, the Most Glorious, and clinging to the hem of the robe to which have clung all in this world and in the world to come.
I beseech Thee, O my God, by Thy hair which moveth across Thy face, even as Thy most exalted pen moveth across the pages of Thy Tablets, shedding the musk of hidden meanings over the kingdom of Thy creation, so to raise me up to serve Thy Cause that I shall not fall back, nor be hindered by the suggestions of them who have caviled at Thy signs and turned away from Thy face. Thou seest me, O my God, holding to Thy Name, the Most Holy, the Most Luminous, the Most Mighty, the Most Great, the Most Exalted, the Most Glorious, and clinging to the hem of the robe to which have clung all in this world and in the world to come.
I beseech Thee, O my God, by Thy Name which Thou hast made the King of Names, by which all who are in heaven and all who are on earth have been enraptured, to enable me to gaze on the Daystar of Thy Beauty, and to supply me with the wine of Thine utterance. Thou seest me, O my God, holding to Thy Name, the Most Holy, the Most Luminous, the Most Mighty, the Most Great, the Most Exalted, the Most Glorious, and clinging to the hem of the robe to which have clung all in this world and in the world to come.
I beseech Thee, O my God, by the Tabernacle of Thy majesty upon the loftiest summits, and the Canopy of Thy Revelation on the highest hills, to graciously aid me to do what Thy will hath desired and Thy purpose hath manifested. Thou seest me, O my God, holding to Thy Name, the Most Holy, the Most Luminous, the Most Mighty, the Most Great, the Most Exalted, the Most Glorious, and clinging to the hem of the robe to which have clung all in this world and in the world to come.
I beseech Thee, O my God, by Thy Beauty that shineth forth above the horizon of eternity, a Beauty before which as soon as it revealeth itself the kingdom of beauty boweth down in worship, magnifying it in ringing tones, to grant that I may die to all that I possess and live to whatsoever belongeth unto Thee. Thou seest me, O my God, holding to Thy Name, the Most Holy, the Most Luminous, the Most Mighty, the Most Great, the Most Exalted, the Most Glorious, and clinging to the hem of the robe to whicI beseech Thee, O my God, by the Manifestation of Thy Name, the Well-Beloved, through Whom the hearts of Thy lovers were consumed and the souls of all that dwell on earth have soared aloft, to aid me to remember Thee amongst Thy creatures, and to extol Thee amidst Thy people. Thou seest me, O my God, holding to Thy Name, the Most Holy, the Most Luminous, the Most Mighty, the Most Great, the Most Exalted, the Most Glorious, and clinging to the hem of the robe to which have clung all in this world and in the world to come.h have clung all in this world and in the world to come.
I beseech Thee, O my God, by the rustling of the Divine Lote-Tree and the murmur of the breezes of Thine utterance in the kingdom of Thy names, to remove me far from whatsoever Thy will abhorreth, and draw me nigh unto the station wherein He Who is the Dayspring of Thy signs hath shone forth. Thou seest me, O my God, holding to Thy Name, the Most Holy, the Most luminous, the Most Mighty, the Most Great, the Most Exalted, the Most Glorious, and clinging to the hem of the robe to which have clung all in this world and in the world to come.
I beseech Thee, O my God, by that Letter which, as soon as it proceeded our of the mouth of Thy will, hath caused the oceans to surge, and the winds to blow, and the fruits to be revealed, and the trees to spring forth, and all past traces to vanish, and all veils to be rent asunder, and them who are devoted to Thee to hasten unto the light of the countenance of their Lord, the Unconstrained, to make known unto me what lay hid in the treasuries of Thy knowledge and concealed within the repositories of Thy wisdom. Thou seest me, O my God, holding to Thy Name, the Most Holy, the Most Luminous, the Most Mighty, the Most Great, the Most Exalted, the Most Glorious, and clinging to the hem of the robe to which have clung all in this world and in the world to come.
I beseech Thee, O my God, by the fire of Thy love which drove sleep from the eyes of Thy chosen ones and Thy loved ones, and by their remembrance and praise of Thee at the hour of dawn, to number me with such as have attained unto that which Thou hast sent down in Thy Book and manifested through Thy will. Thou seest me, O my God, holding to Thy Name, the Most Holy, the Most Luminous, the Most Mighty, the Most Great, the Most Exalted, the Most Glorious, and clinging to the hem of the robe to which have clung all in this world and in the world to come.
I beseech Thee, O my God, by the light of Thy countenance which impelled them who are nigh unto Thee to meet the darts of Thy decree, and such as are devoted to Thee to face the swords of Thine enemies in Thy path, to write down for me with Thy most exalted Pen what Thou hast written down for Thy trusted ones and Thy chosen ones. Thou seest me, O my God, holding to Thy Name, the Most Holy, the Most Luminous, the Most Mighty, the Most Great, the Most Exalted, the Most Glorious, and clinging to the hem of the robe to which have clung all in this world and in the world to come.
I beseech Thee, O my God, by Thy Name through which Thou hast hearkened unto the call of Thy lovers, and the sighs of them that long for Thee, and the cry of them that enjoy near access to Thee, and the groaning of them that are devoted to Thee, and through which Thou hast fulfilled the wishes of them that have set their hopes on Thee, and hast granted them their desires, through Thy grace and Thy favors, and by Thy Name through which the ocean of forgiveness surged before Thy face, and the clouds of Thy generosity rained upon Thy servants, to write down for every one who hath turned unto Thee, and observed the fast prescribed by Thee, the recompense decreed for such as speak not except by Thy leave, and who forsook all that they possessed in Thy path and for love of Thee.
I beseech Thee, O my Lord, by Thyself, and by Thy signs, and Thy clear tokens, and the shining light of the Day-Star of Thy Beauty, and Thy Branches, to cancel the trespasses of those who have held fast to Thy laws, and have observed what Thou hast prescribed unto them in Thy Book. Thou seest me, O my God, holding to Thy Name, the Most Holy, the Most Luminous, the Most Mighty, the Most Great, the Most Exalted, the Most Glorious, and clinging to the hem of the robe to which have clung all in this world and in the world to come.
O Arglwydd Rhadlon! Ti, yr Hwn wyt yn hael ac yn drugarog! Nyni ydym weision Dy drothwy, ydym dan nodded Dy drugaredd. Mae Haul Dy ragluniaeth Di yn disgleirio ar bawb ohonom, a chymylau Dy dosturi Di yn glawio arnom oll. Mae Dy roddion yn amgylchynnu pawb, Dy ragluniaeth yn cynnal pawb, Dy nodded yn cysgodi pawb a thremiau Dy ffafr Di yn goleuo pawb. O Arglwydd! Dyro i ni Dy roddion diderfyn a gad i oleuni Dy arweiniad Di lewyrchu arnom. Goleua'r llygaid, gwna'r eneidiau'n llawen a dyro ysbryd newydd ar y calonnau. Dyro iddynt fywyd tragwyddol; Agor ddrysau Dy wybodaeth; gad i oleuni ffydd lewyrchu.
Una ddynoliaeth a thyrd â hi i un lloches dan faner Dy nodded Di, fel y daw dynion yn debyg i donnau un môr, i ddail a brigau un goeden, ac ymgynnull yng nghysgod yr un babell. Boed i'r un ffynhonnell o oleuni a bywyd eu goleuo hwy. Ti yw'r Rhoddwr, y Duw Trugarog

O Thou kind Lord! O Thou Who art generous and merciful! We are servants of Thy threshold and are gathered beneath the sheltering shadow of Thy divine unity. The sun of Thy mercy is shining upon all, and the clouds of Thy bounty shower upon all. Thy gifts encompass all, Thy loving providence sustains all, Thy protection overshadows all, and the glances of Thy favor are cast upon all. O Lord! Grant Thine infinite bestowals, and let the light of Thy guidance shine. Illumine the eyes, gladden the hearts with abiding joy. Confer a new spirit upon all people and bestow upon them eternal life. Gather all people beneath the shadow of Thy bounty and cause them to unite in harmony, so that they may become as the rays of one sun, as the waves of one ocean, and as the fruit of one tree. May they drink from the same fountain. May they be refreshed by the same breeze. May they receive illumination from the same source of light. Thou art the Giver, the Merciful, the Omnipotent.
O Arglwydd! Gwna i’r ifanc hwn lewyrchu a thywallt gyfoeth Dy haelioni arno, greadur tlawd. Bendithia ef â gwybodaeth, dyro iddo nerth ychwanegol ar ddechrau pob dydd a gwarchod ef yng nghysgod Dy amddiffyn fel y caiff ei ryddhau o gamgymeriadau, gan ymdaflu i wasanaeth Dy Achos Di. Bydded iddo ddod yn ganllaw i’r rhai sy’n crwydro, i arwain y rhai di-gyfeiriad, i ryddhau’r rhai sy’n gaeth ac i ddeffro’r rhai di-hidio, fel y cant i gyd eu bendithio yn Dy gofio a Dy glod.
O Lord! Make this youth radiant, and confer Thy bounty upon this poor creature. Bestow upon him knowledge, grant him added strength at the break of every morn and guard him within the shelter of Thy protection so that he may be freed from error, may devote himself to the service of Thy Cause, may guide the wayward, lead the hapless, free the captives and awaken the heedless, that all may be blessed with Thy remembrance and praise. Thou art the Mighty and the Powerful.
Dyddiau o baratoi ar gyfer yr ympryd, dyddiau o gyfeillgarwch, rhyddfrydugrwydd a rhoi anrhegion yw'r Dyddiau Rhyng-Galendraidd (Chwefror 26 hyd Mawrth 1)
Fy Nuw, fy Nhân a'm Goleuni! Mae'r dyddiau a elwaist yr Ayyám-i-Há yn Dy Lyfr wedi cyrraedd, O Tydi yr Hwn wyt yn Frenin enwau, ac mae'r ympryd a gymhellwyd ar bawb sydd yn nheyrnas Dy greadigaeth i gadw gan Dy 'Sgrifbin mwyaf dyrchafedig yn agosáu. Erfyniaf arnot, O f'Arglwydd, trwy y dyddiau hyn a thrwy'r holl rai sydd, yn ystod y cyfnod hwnnw, wedi glynnu wrth rwymyn Dy orchmynion a chydio yn nolen Dy wirebau, i ganiatau i le o fewn cyffiniau Dy lys gael ei benodi ar gyfer pob enaid, ac eisteddle iddynt wrth ddatguddiad ysblander golau Dy wedd.
Rhain, O f'Arglwydd, yw Dy wiesion na pherodd i unrhyw duedd llygredig eu cadw rhag yr hyn yr anfonaist i lawr yn Dy Lyfr. Ymgrymasant o flaen Dy Achos, a dderbyniasant Dy Dy Lyfr â'r penderfyniad hwnnw a annwyd ohonot Ti, ac a ddilynasant yr hyn y gorchmynaist iddynt, ac a ddewisasant i ddilyn yr hyn a anfonwyd i lawr ganddo Ti.
Ti a weli, O f'Arglwydd, fel yr adnabyddasant a chyfaddefasant pa beth bynnag y datguddiasaist yn Dy Ysgrythurau. Rho iddynt yfed, O f'Arglwydd o ddwylo Dy rasoldeb a dyfroedd Dy dragwyddoldeb. Ysgrifenna i lawr, felly, ar eu cyfer yr ad-daliad yr ordeiniasaist ar gyfer yr hwn a drocha ei hun ym môr Dy bresenoldeb, ac a gyrhaeddodd melys win Dy gyfarfod.
Erfyniaf arnat, Tydi Frenin y brenhinoedd a'r Hwn a drugarhâ wrth y gorthrymedig, i ordeinio ar eu cyfer dda'r byd hwn a'r byd a ddaw. Ysgrifenna i lawr iddynt, ymhellach, yr hyn nad oes unrhyw un o'th greaduriaid wedi ei ddarganfod a chyfra hwynt ymysg y rhai a ymgylchasant o'th amgylch, ac a symudant o gwmpas Dy Orsedd ym mhob byd o'th fydoedd.
Tydi, yn wir, yw'r Hollalluog, yr Holl-Wybodol, yr Holl-Hysbysedig.
(The Intercalary Days, February 26 to March 1, inclusive, should be days of preparation for the Fast, days of hospitality, charity and the giving of presents.)
My God, my Fire and my Light! The days which Thou hast named the Ayyam-i-Ha in Thy Book have begun, O Thou Who art the King of names, and the fast which Thy most exalted Pen hath enjoined unto all who are in the kingdom of Thy creation to observe is approaching. I entreat Thee, O my Lord, by these days and by all such as have during that period clung to the cord of Thy commandments, and laid hold on the handle of Thy precepts, to grant that unto every soul may be assigned a place within the precincts of Thy court, and a seat at the revelation of the splendors of the light of Thy countenance.
These, O my Lord, are Thy servants whom no corrupt inclination hath kept back from what Thou didst send down in Thy Book. They have bowed themselves before Thy Cause, and received Thy Book with such resolve as is born of Thee, and observed what Thou hadst prescribed unto them, and chosen to follow that which had been sent down by Thee.
Thou seest, O my Lord, how they have recognized and confessed whatsoever Thou hast revealed in Thy Scriptures. Give them to drink, O my Lord, from the hands of Thy graciousness the waters of Thine eternity. Write down, then, for them the recompense ordained for him that hath immersed himself in the ocean of Thy presence, and attained unto the choice wine of Thy meeting.
I implore Thee, O Thou the King of kings and the Pitier of the downtrodden, to ordain for them the good of this world and of the world to come. Write down for them, moreover, what none of Thy creatures hath discovered, and number them with those who have circled round Thee, and who move about Thy throne in every world of Thy worlds.
Thou, truly, art the Almighty, the All-Knowing, the All-Informed.
Hon yw'r unig weddi orfodol a adroddir yn gynulleidfaol; rhaid i'w hadrodd gan un o'r credinwyr tra sefyll pawb. Nid oes rhaid troi tua'r Qiblih tra'n adrodd y weddi hon.
Kitáb-i-Aqdas
O fy Nuw! Hwn yw Dy was a mab Dy was, a gredodd ynot Ti ac yn Dy arwyddion, ac osododd ei wyneb tuag atat Ti, yn hollol ddidol oddi wrth bob peth ond Tydi. Tydi wyt, yn wir, ymysg y rhai a ddengys drugaredd y mwyaf trugarog.
Ymdrin ag ef, O Tydi yr hwn sy'n maddau pechodau dynion ac yn cuddio eu beiau, fel y gweddai nefoedd Dy haelioni a chefnfor Dy ras. Dyro iddo fynediad i gyffiniau Dy drugaredd ragorol yr hwn oedd cyn sylfaenu nef a daear. Nid oes Dduw ond Tydi, y Byth-Faddeuol, y Mwyaf Hael.
Gad iddo, gan hynny, ail adrodd chwe gwaith y cyfarchiad 'Alláh'u'Abhá' ac yna ail adrodd bedair ar bymtheg o wiethiau bob un o'r adnodau canlynol.
Ninnau oll, yn wir, addolwn Dduw.
Ninnau oll, yn wir, ymgrymwn o flaen Duw.
Ninnau oll, yn wir, ydym gysegredig i Dduw.
Ninnau oll, yn wir, rhoddwn foliant i Dduw.
Ninnau oll, yn wir, rhoddwn ddiolch i Dduw.
Ninnau oll, yn wir, ydym amyneddgar yn Nuw.
(Petai'r marw yn fenyw, gad iddo ddywedyd: Hon yw Dy lawforwyn a merch Dy lawforwyn ..)
This is the only obligatory prayer which is to be recited in congregation; it is to be recited by one believer while all present stand in silence. There is no requirement to face the Qiblih when saying this prayer.
(Baha'u'llah, The Kitab-i-Aqdas, p. 169)
O my God! This is Thy servant and the son of Thy servant who hath believed in Thee and in Thy signs, and set his face towards Thee, wholly detached from all except Thee. Thou art, verily, of those who show mercy the most merciful.
Deal with him, O Thou Who forgivest the sins of men and concealest their faults, as beseemeth the heaven of Thy bounty and the ocean of Thy grace. Grant him admission within the precincts of Thy transcendent mercy that was before the foundation of earth and heaven. There is no God but Thee, the Ever-Forgiving, the Most Generous.
Let him, then, repeat six times the greeting "Alláh-u-Abhá," and then repeat nineteen times each of the following verses:
We all, verily, worship God.
We all, verily, bow down before God.
We all, verily, are devoted unto God.
We all, verily, give praise unto God.
We all, verily, yield thanks unto God.
We all, verily, are patient in God.
(If the dead be a woman, let him say: This is Thy handmaiden and the daughter of Thy handmaiden, etc....)
Bahá'u'lláh.
have compassed Thy dominions on earth and in heaven, to vouchsafe unto Thy newly welcomed one Thy gifts and Thy bestowals, and the fruits of the tree of Thy grace!
O fy Nuw! O faddeuwr pechodau! Cyflwynwr rhoddion! Gwasgarwr cystuddiau!
Yn wir, yn wir, erfyniaf arnat Ti i faddau pechodau'r rhai sydd wedi diosg eu gwisg gorfforol ac wedi esgyn i'r byd ysbrydol.
O fy Arglwydd! Pura hwy o’u drygioni, gwasgar eu gofidiau, a thro eu tywyllwch yn oleuni. Gwna iddynt rodio i mewn i ardd llawenydd, glanhâ hwy â’r dŵr pureiddiaf, a chaniatâ iddynt weld Dy ogoniannau Di ar entrych y mynydd uchaf.
O my God! O Thou forgiver of sins, bestower of gifts, dispeller of afflictions!
Verily, I beseech Thee to forgive the sins of such as have abandoned the physical garment and have ascended to the spiritual world.
O my Lord! Purify them from trespasses, dispel their sorrows, and change their darkness into light. Cause them to enter the garden of happiness, cleanse them with the most pure water, and grant them to behold Thy splendours on the loftiest mount.
