This Privacy Policy explains how SandApps Inc. ("we", "us", "our") handles information in the Baha'i Prayers and Writings mobile application (package net.bahaiprayers.app) (the "App"). By using the App you agree to this policy.

Information We Collect

We do not require an account, and we do not collect, store, or sell personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, contacts, or photos. The App contains no advertising and no third-party analytics or tracking.

Information Processed to Provide Features

• Location (optional). If you grant location permission, the App uses your device's approximate latitude and longitude to calculate local sunrise and sunset times (for example, for the Fast and prayer times). These coordinates are sent to the public service sunrise-sunset.org solely to obtain those times. We do not store your location. You can decline or revoke location permission at any time in your device settings; the rest of the App will continue to work.
• Content downloads and search. The App downloads prayers, writings, images and news from bahaiprayers.net and feeds.bahai.org. Search terms you enter may be sent to bahaiprayers.net to return results. These requests are not linked to your identity. As with any internet request, the receiving server may briefly see your IP address in standard server logs.
• Data stored on your device. Your settings, favorites, notes and downloaded content are stored locally on your device only and are removed when you uninstall the App.
• App reviews. The App may ask you to rate it using the Google Play In-App Review feature. That process is handled by Google under Google's Privacy Policy.

Sharing of Information

We do not sell, rent, or share personal information with third parties, except as described above to provide App features or where required by law.

Data Security

We use secure (HTTPS) connections where supported. Because we do not collect personal information, there is no personal data held by us that could be exposed.

Children's Privacy

The App is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

Data Deletion

Since we do not hold any personal data, there is nothing to delete on our side. To remove all data the App stores on your device, uninstall the App or clear its storage in your device settings.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
