*Hon yw'r unig weddi orfodol a adroddir yn gynulleidfaol; rhaid i'w hadrodd gan un o'r credinwyr tra sefyll pawb. Nid oes rhaid troi tua'r Qiblih tra'n adrodd y weddi hon.
*Kitáb-i-Aqdas
O fy Nuw! Hwn yw Dy was a mab Dy was, a gredodd ynot Ti ac yn Dy arwyddion, ac osododd ei wyneb tuag atat Ti, yn hollol ddidol oddi wrth bob peth ond Tydi. Tydi wyt, yn wir, ymysg y rhai a ddengys drugaredd y mwyaf trugarog.
Ymdrin ag ef, O Tydi yr hwn sy'n maddau pechodau dynion ac yn cuddio eu beiau, fel y gweddai nefoedd Dy haelioni a chefnfor Dy ras. Dyro iddo fynediad i gyffiniau Dy drugaredd ragorol yr hwn oedd cyn sylfaenu nef a daear. Nid oes Dduw ond Tydi, y Byth-Faddeuol, y Mwyaf Hael.
Gad iddo, gan hynny, ail adrodd chwe gwaith y cyfarchiad 'Alláh'u'Abhá' ac yna ail adrodd bedair ar bymtheg o wiethiau bob un o'r adnodau canlynol.
Ninnau oll, yn wir, addolwn Dduw.
Ninnau oll, yn wir, ymgrymwn o flaen Duw.
Ninnau oll, yn wir, ydym gysegredig i Dduw.
Ninnau oll, yn wir, rhoddwn foliant i Dduw.
Ninnau oll, yn wir, rhoddwn ddiolch i Dduw.
Ninnau oll, yn wir, ydym amyneddgar yn Nuw.
*(Petai'r marw yn fenyw, gad iddo ddywedyd: Hon yw Dy lawforwyn a merch Dy lawforwyn ..)
This is the only obligatory prayer which is to be recited in congregation; it is to be recited by one believer while all present stand in silence. There is no requirement to face the Qiblih when saying this prayer.
(Baha'u'llah, The Kitab-i-Aqdas, p. 169)
O my God! This is Thy servant and the son of Thy servant who hath believed in Thee and in Thy signs, and set his face towards Thee, wholly detached from all except Thee. Thou art, verily, of those who show mercy the most merciful.
Deal with him, O Thou Who forgivest the sins of men and concealest their faults, as beseemeth the heaven of Thy bounty and the ocean of Thy grace. Grant him admission within the precincts of Thy transcendent mercy that was before the foundation of earth and heaven. There is no God but Thee, the Ever-Forgiving, the Most Generous.
Let him, then, repeat six times the greeting "Alláh-u-Abhá," and then repeat nineteen times each of the following verses:
We all, verily, worship God.
We all, verily, bow down before God.
We all, verily, are devoted unto God.
We all, verily, give praise unto God.
We all, verily, yield thanks unto God.
We all, verily, are patient in God.
(If the dead be a woman, let him say: This is Thy handmaiden and the daughter of Thy handmaiden, etc....)
Bahá'u'lláh.
have compassed Thy dominions on earth and in heaven, to vouchsafe unto Thy newly welcomed one Thy gifts and Thy bestowals, and the fruits of the tree of Thy grace!
- Bahá'u'lláh
O fy Nuw! O faddeuwr pechodau! Cyflwynwr rhoddion! Gwasgarwr cystuddiau!
Yn wir, yn wir, erfyniaf arnat Ti i faddau pechodau'r rhai sydd wedi diosg eu gwisg gorfforol ac wedi esgyn i'r byd ysbrydol.
O fy Arglwydd! Pura hwy o’u drygioni, gwasgar eu gofidiau, a thro eu tywyllwch yn oleuni. Gwna iddynt rodio i mewn i ardd llawenydd, glanhâ hwy â’r dŵr pureiddiaf, a chaniatâ iddynt weld Dy ogoniannau Di ar entrych y mynydd uchaf.
O my God! O Thou forgiver of sins, bestower of gifts, dispeller of afflictions!
Verily, I beseech Thee to forgive the sins of such as have abandoned the physical garment and have ascended to the spiritual world.
O my Lord! Purify them from trespasses, dispel their sorrows, and change their darkness into light. Cause them to enter the garden of happiness, cleanse them with the most pure water, and grant them to behold Thy splendours on the loftiest mount.
